José Bedia at the Puerto Rican Museum of Art

“¿Cómo empezó todo?” (How did everything begin?) is the provocative title for the first solo exhibition by Cuban artist José Bedia.

Now, the Neuberger Museum of Art in Purchase, New York presents On The Political Imaginary, the first survey of interdisciplinary work by the Cuban-born artist.

Corina Matamoros, noted curator of Cuban art, publishes new book

The publication of Mirada de Curador (A Curator´s Look), a new book on contemporary Cuban art, will be celebrated at the National Museum of Fine Arts in Havana on Friday, January 8, 2010 at 4:00 in the afternoon. Released by the Letras Cubanas Publishing House, Mirada de Curador gathers texts written over the past six years by Corina Matamoros, chief curator of the museum.
