Flora Fong and Li Domínguez Fong: Cuban Art in South Florida

An exhibition of new and recent work by artists Flora Fong and Li Domínguez Fong opens tomorrow evening, September 3, at Cernuda Arte in Coral Gables, Florida. The two artists will travel from Havana for the exhibition opening. Dramatically different in style, their work will be exhibited for the first time in a double show.

La enmienda que hay en mí (Making Amends), an exhibition of works by internationally acclaimed Cuban artist Carlos Garaicoa, opened last night (August 23) at the University of South Florida Contemporary Art Museum in Tampa. On view: “The Crown Jewels,” the cut-paper metropolis “Bend City,” and other recent installations, sculptures, and manipulated photographs.

Tiempo Libre: Cuban Timba Hits New York
